Ayla Insanova is interested in her work being a way of inviting the viewer to distance the self from the material world and begin to move towards the spiritual world. For Insanova, art is an act of giving hope to change the world, healing the soul, correcting and creating. “Life is quite complicated, full of negative colours and aggressive shapes.” All the artist’s works are her attempt to remind the viewer that whatever happened in our life we should never lose belief in our strength and ability to go through. Insanova is constantly researching. In search of herself, of self knowledge and self-expression. The artist’s path to art was long and difficult, but conscious and free. “For me it is not merely painting, but a way of existence.”
