Curator, Art Advisor
Georg Bak is an art advisor and curator, specialised in digital + generative art, vintage computer art from the 1960s and contemporary photography. Bak served in senior positions for Hauser & Wirth in Zurich and London and as an art advisor at LGT Bank in Zurich before running his own gallery SCHEUBLEIN + BAK in Zurich for seven years. He specialiszed in generative art and curated shows such as "Thinking in Algorithms, "Against Photography" and "Perfect & Priceless. Value Systems on the Blockchain.
Bak currently advises digital art collectors and companies in the blockchain industry and is sales director key clients to 4ARTechnologies. He was on the curatorial advisor of RARE Art Festival 2 in New York and the webinar series Art + Fintech 2.0. He is an advisor of MoCDA (Museum of Contemporary Digital Art), a board member of AIS (Art Identification standard), an advisor for CADAF (Contemporary & Digital Art Fair), curator of the GENAP Collection and 28 Vignon Street and an independent curator of digital art exhibitions.
