Filippo Lorenzin

Filippo Lorenzin is an independent art writer, teacher and media theorist based in Italy. He has over 10 years experience in the fields of contemporary art and digital culture collaborating with international venues, including Goethe Institute, Paris College of Art and Arebyte. Alongside this activity, he worked as manager at the Victoria and Albert Museum (London).

 

The main purpose of his activity is the research of digital culture and art in the broader context of art history. He worked on exhibitions, workshops and webinars aimed at developing a critical approach towards new media and online platforms that go beyond the niche definition of “new media art”.

 
He holds a BA (Hons) in Multimedia Arts from the School of Fine Arts of Venice and a MA (Hons) in Visual Arts from the Iuav University, Venice.
