Diversity & Inclusion
Silvia Braidotti is an art historian and curator interested in intersectional feminism and cross-cultural integration. She holds a BA in Conservation of Cultural Heritage from the University of Siena and is about to complete her MA in Art History at the Sapienza University of Rome. Working at the intersection between contemporary art and the social sphere, she developed inclusive programmes for migrants and detained people to explore artistic expression as a means of self regeneration and social re-evaluation, connecting them with the entire community.
Her interest in digital art started back in 2020 and ran parallel to her studies. In MoCDA she found the perfect opportunity to reach out to and help intertwine a wider, decentralised and diverse community through both art theory and a practice-oriented approach.
