Curator and Editor
Chiara Braidotti is an art editor involved in education and digital art curation.
After graduating in Italian Literature, she attended the MFA in Art and Humanities at Djcad, Scotland, and the MA in Economics and Management of the Arts and Cultural Heritage at the Sole24ORE Business School of Rome. In Scotland, Chiara worked as an art tutor for Djcad MFA students and academic assistant to the University of Dundee Contemporary Art Department director, Prof. Mary Modeen. In Italy, she became the editorial assistant to art and architecture publications (Fondazione MAXXI and Quodlibet).
In 2018, Chiara approached the crypto art scene through artistic production, then developing seminars and workshops to explore the meaning, evolution and market trajectory of this new genre as a guest-teacher at Università degli Studi di Udine. Her interest in art and blockchain lead her to collaborate with prominent actors in the space, writing articles, curating digital art shows in Cryptovoxels and contributing as an art editor for major online media platforms. Chiara has joined the MoCDA curatorial team to promote a deeper understanding of digital and crypto art.
