Gerard Martínez’s practice is linked to the audiovisual. He always tries to tell a story with his artistic work using the  tools, both practical and theoretical, of audio and visual arts. Martínez’s art explores spatiality, lights and shadows,  to bring out psychological impressions that are hidden in each of his works. COMMUNITY is an union between the physical and the 3D, the reality posed through a camera and a TV as a window  of this universe. 3D recreates something unreal, imaginary, a psychological world, which from that side they watch,  motionless, making our reality theirs. A community of imitators that never sleeps; that feeds on our experience. Like  Vaporwave, it seeks to give a vision of what the future would be. What was a fashion style for advertising and meme,  on the internet, without narrative character, only beauty, here will be recontextualized in this project to tell a story.
