Rei carter and the forgotten universe

Intrigued by her dreams and psychology, Thuy Ly Leova’s work often plunges into the surreal and the subconscious. A dreamer and a storyteller, the artist’s narrative compositions reflect on our world by imagining new worlds filled  with quirky characters and explore how objects can tell a narrative by playing with still life and composition. Thuy  Ly Leova’s work is very playful, often characterised by patterns and vibrant colours influenced by the 80’s & 90’s  aesthetics, pop culture and street culture. Versatile in style and medium, the artist mainly works digitally exploring  the possibilities of illustration and sequential storytelling by experimenting with technology and combining different  media such as 3D, AR and VR to create immersive and interactive experiences for the audience welcoming them to  my dream worlds.
