Anastasia Pineschi is an American / Italian curator whose focus is in contemporary digital and time-based media artworks. She has a master's degree from the Courtauld Institute of Art, where her research investigated the innate bias of collection management systems in curatorial practice. She also acted as the Website Development Lead and co-curator of the Courtauld's exhibition 'Unquiet Moments', named 'Exhibition of the week' by the Guardian.
Anastasia has worked previously with Tate Modern, the Los Angeles County Museum of Art, and the Italian American Museum of Los Angeles to help produce exhibitions and manage collections. Because she remains committed to exploring the newest technological and artistic trends, she is excited to be working with MoCDA to create engaging and informative programming for a wide range of audiences.
